I’m Andrew Helton — husband, dad of two, still making about $30k a year in Illinois. Like you, I’ve felt the squeeze: daycare bills that hurt, drug prices that rob us, veterans sleeping on the street, and a Washington that just added trillions to the debt with their “One Big Beautiful Bill” while giving families almost nothing.
So I stopped complaining and started writing — again.
In 2025 they passed their bill.
In 2025 I finished mine.
The CitizenHelton United Act of 2026 is now eleven complete, ready-to-file bills that any Member of Congress can drop on Day 1 of the 119th Congress (January 3, 2026).

What I built beats Washington’s plan on every single metric:
- Up to one full year of paid family leave (working families under $100k/$200k joint get the full 52 weeks immediately)
- 750,000 new mixed-income homes — at least 40% reserved for veterans and post-9/11 disabled vets
- Finish the wall + 10,000 new agents + nationwide E-Verify + merit-based immigration
- Slash drug prices 20–30% with Canada imports, Most-Favored-Nation pricing, and patent-abuse bans
- Protect and expand healthcare coverage while saving taxpayers $32–$48 billion a year
- Save Social Security for decades — no cap for workers, frozen forever for millionaires
- End government shutdowns permanently + cut $110 billion of documented waste every single year
- Pay down $2.8 – $3.4 TRILLION of debt over ten years
100% paid for. Zero new taxes on any family under $400k/$800k joint.
Washington talked big and added debt.
One regular dad from Illinois wrote the plan that actually delivers.
